WHAT IS WIKI?



"Wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly."
Collaboration of ideas, sharing and searching for knowledge.

CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Allows anyone to edit.
  • promotes knowledge sharing.
  • increases participation.
  • All comments are visible to all.
  • to create new pages within the wiki Web site.
  • wiki involves visitors in a process of creation and collaboration  that constantly changes the Web site
  •  Easy to edit.
  • Easy to find content.

  2. What do you mean when you say "Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly."?
    It's quite uninteligible since the words you are using are confusing or unkown for most people.

    You have to be carefull with capitalization and punctuation.
